Industry leaders from around the globe gathered together in Rotterdam for the 2019 World Conference for Inspection and Maintenance Robotics, organized by the SPRINT Robotics Collaborative. The leading and first moving technologies for remote robotic inspection in the oil and gas industry by Energy Robotics and ExRobotics, including live operation of robots in different parts of the world, attracted very high interest among the participants.
German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel visited Energy Robotics to learn more about the high-tech spin-off of Technische Universität Darmstadt and its leading technologies. The Energy Robotics Team explained about the features and potential use cases, with Chancellor Merkel signing a robot afterwards.
